On May 1st of every year since 1889, thanks to the labor movement in Europe, we celebrate the struggles of workers in honor of the strike for the reduction of working hours to 8 hours per day. At L'AFRICAINE VIE, the General Management has chosen this day, since 2019, to celebrate the effort of all the staff of the Company through the election of the best worker.
This year, through a fully computerized electronic vote, the company's staff elected the person who, in their opinion, embodies a job well done. Following this vote, Monsieur Lewis ADJAMAHINHead of Technical Department and Acting Head of Commercial Department won with 12 votes out of 38.
A choice that was not insignificant, because since his arrival at L'AFRICAINE VIE one (1) year ago, he was able to impose to his team and to all his colleagues his dynamism and his abnegation to provide a work worthy of the name. It is through a meeting on Zoom that the results were proclaimed to respect the sanitary measures indicated in these times of COVID-19. The prize of vouchers was given to him by the General Manager, not only to encourage him to continue his work, but also and above all to encourage other staff members to follow his example for the years to come.
