On Friday April 24, 2020, the companies L'AFRICAINE DES
ASSURANCES and L'AFRICAINE VIE BENIN have made a donation of 25 million FCFA to support the efforts of the Beninese government in the fight against the coronavirus.
In his speech, the General Manager of AFRICAINE DES ASSURANCES, Mr. Mouftaou SOUHOUIN, pointed out that this donation is a favorable follow-up to the call of the Head of State in his address of Sunday March 29, 2020 on the pandemic. He urged the Beninese not only to strictly respect the measures issued by the government but also invited to patriotism and mobilization of all in these difficult times. He was accompanied by the General Manager of AFRICAINE VIE BENIN, Mr. Hervé TCHIAKPE and the Sales and Marketing Director of AFRICAINE DES ASSURANCES, Mr. Kenneth ELEGBEDE.
This check of 25 million FCFA was received by Dr. Ali Imorou BACHABI, General secretary
of the Ministry of Health, who thanked the Group L'AFRICAINE DES ASSURANCES for the patriotism which it has just shown by this act of generosity. He took the opportunity to invite the private structures that are still hesitating to follow suit.
