SE MAINTENIR EN FORME A LA MAISON

The crisis caused by the Coronavirus has brought about changes in everyone's daily life. In order to get through this period, the outcome of which cannot be determined, it is important to remain active and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The "Eat and Move" that we often hear about, or not, makes sense and would be the safest and most effective way to be in good physical and mental shape.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), nutrition is the food intake that meets the body's needs. Good nutrition - that is to say, a suitable and balanced diet - and regular physical exercise are all guarantees of
good health . What diet and physical exercises to maintain or improve our health?

Your magazine has surfed and SHARES with you some ideas gleaned here and there...
It is no longer a secret: to stay healthy, you must eat a balanced diet by regularly integrating vegetables (carrots, cucumbers, gboman, amanvivè...), cereals (corn, rice, millet, fonio...) and legumes (beans, peas, lentils...) in your meals. Don't forget tubers, fish and meat. It is also recommended not to eat between meals, or take a fruit as a snack if you are hungry. And we know that the continent is full of many varieties (orange, avocado, tangerine, mango, pineapple, banana, coconut ...)

We suggest you, to please yourself and do good to your body and your morale :

  • Avoid frying as much as possible and adopt steamed, boiled or grilled foods;
  • Prefer a seasoning made of spices and plants as natural as possible (parsley, bay leaf, garlic, ginger, pepper ...), since we do not control the composition of broths and flavor enhancers on the market;
  • To ingest as few refined sugars as possible.

5-6 cubes of boiled yams, a green leaf sauce (taro, potato, spinach), a source of protein (chicken, fish, legume) and a source of good fat (¼-½ avocado, unsaturated oils rich in omega 3 such as olive oil, flaxseed, etc), accompanied by a fruit

Being active means doing physical and mental activities, alone or with your family.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends for all age groups, a
minimum amount of 30 minutes of physical activity per day. Of course, you can do more.

There are many ways to be physically active at home besides reading, watching movies, listening to music, playing board games or crossword puzzles or playing other brain sports......
